Frontend Developer
Location: Tampa, FL or Remote

Reports to: Lead UI Developer
Are you interested in building complex products that will define and shape the future of medical training? Do you like shipping code at a rapid pace and belonging to a team of talented engineers? Immertec is seeking a Frontend Developer that is passionate about building desktop and mobile web applications.
What You’ll Do
- Implement the features and user interfaces of Immertec products
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
What We’re Looking For
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Experience developing desktop and mobile web applications
- Experience in JavaScript libraries such as React, React-Native and Redux-Toolkit
- Experience with HTML/CSS, including concepts like layout, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
- Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front end performance
- [Nice to have] Experience with the Electron framework
- [Nice to have] Experience with TypeScript
- [Nice to have] Experience developing mobile applications on iOS and Android
- A habit of writing super-clean, testable, and well documented code
- Experience with version control and build systems
