About the Opportunity


Higg is seeking a highly respected professional to serve as an executive assistant to the senior leadership team. The Executive Assistant is a crucial role to the organization and will develop and foster proactive engagement to support the leadership team through administrative and operational tasks. Your work will enable the company to maximize their productivity by simplifying collaboration and connection with one another. You will partner with the organization’s executive leaders to help them achieve their goals and objectives. You will provide and lead support to both internal and external parties with a high level of professionalism and in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.


The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented assistant to support our leadership team. The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter who has a proven ability to work in ambiguous situations and create a path forward with minimal direction. This person will thrive working in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have outstanding time management skills, professional communication skills (verbal, written), attention to detail, and a strong sense of security and discretion. The person joining us must be comfortable with a remote work environment.


This role is US-based remote and reports into the Chief Operating Officer. 


Key Responsibilities


Serve as the Executive Assistant to Higg’s senior leadership team:

  • Provides administrative support for the leadership team to protect their time and reduce operational task load, ensuring efficient operations of the leadership team.

  • Carries out administrative duties for the senior leadership team such as scheduling meetings, taking notes, drafting presentations, filing documents. 

  • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting professional correspondences and other tasks to facilitate the leadership team’s ability to effectively lead the organization.

  • Leverage technology platforms to streamline communications and operations for the leadership team.

  • Makes travel arrangements for senior staff as needed. 

  • Works closely and effectively with the CEO’s Executive Assistant to keep him/her/them informed about upcoming commitments and responsibilities pertaining to the leadership team.


Provide operational support to the Higg’s senior leadership team: 

  • Leverage technology platforms to streamline communications for the senior leadership.  

  • Develop, maintain and follow-up on action items for the senior leadership.

  • Assist the senior leadership with company-wide All Hands Meetings presentations and organization. 

  • Schedule meetings and events pertaining to the Higg senior leadership team including coordination and execution of annual team and leadership meetings, both virtual and in person.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years or commensurate experience of significant accomplishments in supporting multiple C-Level Executives preferably in a mission-driven organization.

  • Ability or experience work for remote teams, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to multitask and handle changing priorities. 

  • Fluent English skills (speaking and writing) –additional language is a plus.

  • Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings in a global setting.

  • Highly proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

  • Excellent understanding or ability to learn collaborative software tools (Slack, Zoom, Asana, Salesforce, etc). 

  • Ability to synthesize information and draft clear supporting communication.

  • Proven ability to work in ambiguous situations and create a path forward with minimal direction.

  • Experience in working with and understanding the needs and norms of diverse teams and individuals
