Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Communications, the Product Marketing Manager will drive a shift in perception, sustained awareness, and adoption of Airspace Link’s drone infrastructure products, known as AirHub. Currently utilized by dozens of governments and private industry clients across the country, our AirHub suite of products is continuously evolving to answer market demand and help integrate drones safely into communities at scale. You will be responsible for building and executing our product marketing strategy and supporting sales enablement efforts that lead to successful adoption. 

 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

 

Product Marketing  

 

      • Plan and execute integrated product campaigns from start to finish 
      • Through developing a deep understanding of the products and customers, evolve product positioning and messaging to showcase the value of our AirHub products, differentiating from the competition, while thinking of creative new ways we go to market  
      • Develop processes to understand customer use cases, package those insights, and leverage them in a way that drives customer adoption 
      • Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to build and align roadmaps that drive product awareness and adoption 
      • Collaborate closely with members of our Product Management, Business Development, and Marketing teams to understand customer use cases, gather and distill those insights, and leverage them in a way that drives product awareness and adoption 
      • Participate in cross-functional meetings to develop product awareness and adoption strategies and contribute to integrated marketing launches both tactically and in a project management capacity  
      • Conduct market and customer research to support the product team with Voice of Customer efforts -- uncovering insights that lead to breakthrough messaging, accelerated service adoption & differentiated GTM tactics 
      • Lead new product launch go-to-market planning and feature launch, including working with engineering, product management, and business leaders 
      • Be accountable for communication of Go-To-Market (GTM) updates and reviews with cross-functional leadership 
      • Lead market research activities, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs 

 

Sales Enablement  


      • Support sаles enablement efforts through playbooks, elevator pitches, sales assets, presentations, case studies, etc.  
      • Present and demonstrate product capabilities to customers and industry audiences at both internal and external events 
      • Develop sales enablement tools by creating compelling content and narratives to help B2C, B2B, and B2G customers understand the value of the AirHub platform technology including: product collateral, training materials, white papers, solution briefs, product briefs, blogs, articles, infographics, videos, etc.  

     

    Qualifications and Skills: 

        • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field, or equivalent years of work experience 
        • 6+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 specifically in product marketing capacity, preferably within UAS, GIS, Aviation, Infrastructure, Mobility, Government, or related industry 
        • Demonstrated success in driving go-to-market campaigns through exceptional product positioning and messaging skills within SaaS, DaaS, On-Demand, or Subscription-Based marketing environment 
        • Customer facing experience in marketing, sales, or customer success 
        • Highly creative problem-solving skills with analytical mindset that centers around using qualitative and quantitative analysis to make data-informed decisions 
        • Comfortable with navigating both in-the-weeds details (think: digging into product usage data to create a segmentation strategy) and high-level strategy (think: project managing a cross-functional product campaign) 
        • Desire and capacity to garner a deep product knowledge while understanding the need to zoom out and tell concrete, compelling, value focused stories about our features, platform, and solutions 
        • Obsession with customers 
        • High comfort level with ambiguity and ability to pivot quickly to success in a rapidly changing greenfield industry 
        • Superb communication and persuasion skills and ability to prioritize effectively 
        • Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with competing deadlines  
        • Strong grasp of complex software technology and comfort with highly technical language 
        • Experience with marketing software
        • Advanced MS Office Suite Experience 
        • Passion for innovation, aviation, or new mobility 
        • Part 107 or another pilot’s license a plus 

     

    Travel Required:  Up to 25% 

    Position Type:  Full-Time, 40-50 hours per week
