SUMMARY:

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating engaging, on-brand content for Physician’s Choice social media channels. This position will include but is not limited to: image creation, basic video creation, posting, testing, scheduling, and monitoring results to maximize ROI and engagement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-moving, quickly changing, start-up environment. This individual should be eager to learn about and keep up with trends/best practices for each specific channel. The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating ambassador content and utilizing it across all platforms.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

     Develop, strategize, and implement a plan to make our social media platforms world-  class

      Shoot, snap, edit and post A TON of trendy, on-brand images and videos

      Leverage ambassador content across all channels

 Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), develop optimization  strategies based on data

     Reply to all comments/messages/inquiries on all channels

     Coordinate with Paid Media Manager for contests, promos, and giveaways

     Be ahead of the curve and up to date on trends in the health, beauty, and supplement industry

  Interprets site analytics, researches target demographics, defines key performance indicators, and implements enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success

     Works with administrators, executive management, marketing managers, web analytics team, and other communications teams to coordinate projects and establish and enhance a content marketing strategy

     Documents financial details and creates budget plans for the utilization of social media

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

        Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred

        Minimum 1-year experience managing social media accounts

       Deep knowledge of social media platforms and best practices (Instagram, Facebook,    Twitter, Pinterest)

        Willingness to learn new platforms as the opportunity arises

        Some entry-level graphic design and basic video editing experience

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

        An interest in health, beauty, and supplements

        A desire for internal advancement and interest in learning about advertising

        Email marketing experience

        Experience building landing pages

        Experience using a 3rd party social media management platform

        Experience with Reddit, YouTube, Snapchat, and/or Tik-Tok
