Physician's Choice is a rapidly growing top 1% of Supplement Sellers on US Amazon e-Commerce company that is looking for a Director of Digital Marketing expert to join the team as a full-time employee, who is passionate, results driven, innovative leader with the vision to collaboratively drive the business to the next level of growth.

 

This critical role is responsible for providing leadership and vision to drive the business. The successful candidate will need to develop the marketing and digital strategy, work with the executive team and cross-functional team members, and manage the creative team to help drive demand creation for the business. Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce best practices and expertise is required to succeed in the role. The position will need to align efforts within the brands strategy and P&L. This candidate will possess a proven track record as a strategic thought leader on supplement marketing, and with a solid understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing.

SUMMARY:

 

The Director of Digital Marketing will generate sales and PR activities, primarily through digital online activities, including Amazon, specialty website, social media, email, online advertising, affiliate, and viral marketing. The position is responsible for developing and implementing a high impact digital strategy, liaising with marketing, sales and sponsorship to support business growth and objectives


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 


  •        Leads develop and implement a strategic digital marketing plan to increase awareness through web content, social media platforms, online PR and advertising, and other digital elements in order to reach required traffic or subscriber targets and to reach the required audience.
  •         Oversee, manage, monitor, test and optimize campaigns across paid channels (Google, Facebook, and more) to increase performance in acquisition and re-marketing.
  •         Support, suggest and guide creative teams on the creative needs for acquisition campaigns including ads, landing pages, partnerships and any other needs to support growth.
  •         Develop guidelines for weekly and monthly reporting on all KPIs and communicate to stakeholders.
  •         Analyzes marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.

  •         Develop marketing plans for various content marketing channels, paid media such as display ads, search, native, and social media channels.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. 

    Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and 

    directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and 

    resolving problems.

    ·       Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

    ·       Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and or Google Suite, etc. and ability to learn and master new software programs.



    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


    ·     Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in marketing, communications, business management or other related field from a four-year college or university required.

    ·      5+ equivalent years of experience in Marketing or related field.

    ·      3+ years at a management/supervisory role.

    ·      Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods product marketing through eCommerce preferred.

    ·     Minimum 2 years experience with many of the large paid media platforms: Facebook, Google AdWords (Text ads, Images ads, Youtube video ads, Google shopping ads and or Amazon).

    ·      Experience working in ambiguous / start-up environments a plus.
