JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a passionate Senior Merchandising Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and reporting on all merchandising efforts on Physician’s Choice website, in addition to owning the content strategy for our blog and contributing to SEO strategy. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing, Creative, and logistics teams to provide a seamless online shopping experience for Physician’s Choice customers. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

  • Own and manage the execution of all site merchandising, including sort order, homepage programming, navigation, cross-sell/upsell, landing pages, category pages, and PDPs

  • Develop and execute editorial programming across the site experience (homepage, landing pages, other content areas, etc.)

  • Identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to drive change

  • Subcategory/product listing and product detail pages

  • Provide business inputs and context to creative teams to influence content execution that improves customer journey on-site (SEO, blog, etc.)

  • Own and manage content calendar for the Daily Dose, including management and outreach for all external contributors

  • Identify opportunities for external content syndication and own outreach strategy

  •  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, or related field; or an equivalent combination of four to six years related experience and/or education/training sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with excellent Excel skills

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Shopify preferred
