SUMMARY:


We’re a rapidly growing supplements company in Wheat Ridge, CO in need of a bold, creative voice to guide brand communications across a diverse mix of marketing channels. Drawing on equal parts creativity and strategy, the Creative Copywriter is a master of conceptualizing smart, catchy messaging that inspires audiences and drives action. You've done this before and bring 3+ years of experience with productive brainstorming sessions, creative briefs, and crafting irresistible headlines. You’re ready to help build an authentic voice for the brand and embody it in the market, capturing our core audience and championing our mission of expanding access to health and wellness through high-quality supplements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and generate clear and concise content that is used across various media outlets and platforms, including Amazon, Shopify (website), blog, email and social media.

  • Write and produce clear copy based on strategy, concept/idea, target audience, brand guidelines, and product features and benefits; create persuasive messages and tell compelling stories that drive first time purchase and generate brand loyalty in consumers.

  • Write compelling, creative short copy headlines and organize information in a way that is relatable and understandable to a target audience.

  • Write, manage, edit, and upload product-related copy across multiple channels, including product titles, descriptions, A+ Content (Amazon), product images (Amazon), and additional product details.

  • Liaises with clients and colleagues and collaborates with other departments and project teams to consider writing requirements and create innovative content ideas.

  • Updates and amends written content according to feedback.

  • Researches competitors and stays on top of market trends and analyzes content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed.

  • Manages and promotes company blogs and pitches articles to relevant third-party platforms.

  • Aids the Social Media Manager with the implementation and maintenance of the organization's social media presence.

  • Partners with the design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and finds integrated visual/copy solutions.

  • Review and edit materials, ensuring they are free from spelling, grammar and stylistic errors.

  • Ensures all content is of the highest quality and meets the standards of department leaders.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in marketing, communications, or related field

  • Three years of experience in a full-time copywriting role supporting a creative and or a marketing team

  • Ability to research and describe clinical benefits of nutritional supplement ingredients

  • Demonstrated success in producing engaging communications for digital, print and social

  • Familiarity with Nutritional Supplements  

  • Solid understanding of SEO concepts preferred

  • Proficiency with word processing tools including Microsoft Office Software 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
