JOB SUMMARY:


The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for supervising contract manufacturing production runs and relaying progress internally, creating and submitting purchase orders, organizing document archives, and finished product substantiation. This is a key role within the company, requiring strong organizational skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple different projects daily. 


The Supply Chain is a diverse department, allowing for many opportunities to progress into specialized senior Supply Chain Management. The position requires a person capable of performing well under pressure, using critical thinking and resourcefulness to mitigate any risks to the Physician’s Choice supply chain.  While the foundation of the Supply Chain has been established, the Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for helping to identify weaknesses and opportunities to increase efficiencies to promote alignment and stable growth of the supply chain.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

  • Organize and keep records of quotes, purchase orders, sales confirmations, COA’s and finished product specifications for all orders in Google Drive.

  • Manage the accuracy of all Manufacturing Specification Sheets and relay any changes internally.

  • File and analyze product substantiation information, including, but not limited to COA’s, shelf-life testing, and finished product specification results. 

  • Create Purchase Orders and translate the order information on all necessary platforms (Google Sheets, IMS, Quickbooks).

  • Complete regular data audits to ensure accurate production information across all platforms.

  • Manage the timelines of production milestones for open orders with our contract manufacturers and relay production updates to internal teams for total alignment.

  • Determine and manage kitting orders to ensure timely delivery to align with contract manufacturing timelines. 

  • Document supply chain processes and identifies and implements opportunities for efficiency.

  • Work in coordination with our compliance department to ensure that there is full sign off for the following Items:

    • SFP Review

    • Label & Box Reviews

    • Website PDP Reviews

    • Blog and Content Reviews



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Coordinate with the Production Design team to ensure all labels and carton designs are always accurate to the product being manufactured. Supervise logistics to ensure all materials are being shipped to the correct locations by the required dates. Manage contract manufacturer relationships to confirm timely deliverability on orders.  

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The Supply Chain Coordinator must be able to convey urgency in a concise and professional manner. This role requires communication via email, phone call, and Slack (internally). The role is heavy focused on external communication, primarily with our contract manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and 3rd party testing companies. You will be a main supply chain resource for the company, so you will be responsible for relaying information across our different business units.  

  • Understanding and calculating On Hand Inventory, Available Inventory, Allocated Inventory, and On-Order Inventory. 

  • Reason through cost sales price, overhead, and target margin to determine the ballpark cost for quotes with contract manufacturers.  

  • Develop a strong understanding of supply chain trade-offs and make quick decisions with the best interest of Physician’s Choice.

  • Advanced Excel and Google Suites skills required. Quickbooks and ERP experience preferred.  

 


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred

  • 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training preferred 

  • Experience with Quickbooks preferred 

  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
