Software Engineer (Alameda, CA) (multiple positions).  Design, develop, extend, and maintain our payment solutions software using the .NET programming language, including the development of web services and integration with data-driven systems. Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging of the core product, interfaces, and client systems setup. Provide technical expertise to resolve client issues by working closely with other engineering teams, Deployment and Client Support staff. Integrate and troubleshoot peripherals including receipt printers and magnetic card readers. Engage closely with onsite technical staff for deploy and roll out of payments product and help with UAT and collaborate effectively to troubleshoot issues. Conduct full stack development (requires knowledge of web frameworks). Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related server-side position designing and developing payment system applications; or in the alternate, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field; and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related server-side position designing and developing payment system applications. Must also have two (2) years of experience with each of the following: 1) direct programming in Microsoft .Net Frameworks using ASP.Net, VB.Net and C#; 2) user interface and middleware development using .Net framework, MVC, Entity framework, JavaScript; 3) Data-driven development utilizing SQL Server relational database; 4) SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions; and 5) IDEs and build software, including IIS, Visual Studio .Net and TFS.
