The Responsibilities:

As Vice President of Product Management, you'll define and own the overall product vision and drive a roadmap for all product lines. The Transact portfolio ranges from privilege management to payment facilitation to security and surveillance systems as they are transformed to a platform architecture running PaaS. You will be responsible for leading the teams that are building a scalable, reliable, secure and highly performant platform using best practices. You will ensure our product roadmap is flexible to allow for our growth into new and existing business lines. This is a strategic role that requires strong partnership with other functions across the company. You'll partner with other senior leaders to translate product vision into strategic and technological business decisions. You'll drive accountability and metrics ownership to translate strategy into results. Lastly, you'll align and inspire your organization by effectively communicating the strategy and driving the team to success

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of product managers, developers, and related personnel.
  • Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables.
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines.
  • Mentoring and maintaining compliance with regulations and authoritative pronouncements
  • Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
  • Assess product development sprints and enhancement opportunities.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics.
  • Monitor product development sprints and evaluate results.
  • Own the product roadmap and communicate with C-level staff, board members, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead Product Marketing Managers to assess product mix and marketing strategy.
  • Monitor and manage strategic marketing plans for each product or product lines.
  • Define pricing and competitive positioning for each product.
  • Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.
  • Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers.
  • Become the key evangelist of {product} and participate in press activities, conferences, discussions with thought leaders and market analysts.

The Requirements:

Equivalent of 12+ years of product management or similar experience with SaaS in the areas of financial services, consumer internet, enterprise software and Cloud Services (IaaS and/or PaaS)
Proven experience working in ecommerce, financial services, integrated hardware, or similar areas
Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite and inspire and lead a successful cross-functional team; experience hiring and leading a team of 10+ product managers
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions and low-level technical discussions
Solid visual communication skills including the ability to create and deliver a great slide presentation
Strong user experience sensibilities and appreciation for minimal interface design
Deep understanding of analytics, user research and business cases to drive decisions and improve products
