The Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Senior SDET) with a passion for product quality and ready to grow their skills through continuous improvement. The Senior SDET will be a member of an Agile development team where your primary focus will be on leading the development of best-in-class test framework solutions in an Azure cloud environment. The Senior SDET will lead test strategy definition, test framework development as well as working to continually raise the bar on product quality. This Senior SDET role is responsible for leading all levels of development testing including, functional, integration, performance, regression and should have experience with test patterns/approaches for developing/executing these classes of tests. The Senior SDET should be proficient with developing/integrating testing solutions for both Front-End and Back-End systems.

Specific responsibilities will include:
Participation in product design, development, and testing decisions 
Contributing technical and process leadership by researching and implementing industry best practices 
Working with other Software Engineers and SDETs to create automation frameworks and assist in the build-out of development pipelines 
Building and maintaining tooling for test development, coverage, and results 
Communicating with product and technical stakeholders 
Contributing to the team’s efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement and best-in-class development practices 

The Requirements:

3+ years technical experience in developing test frameworks and automation 
    o Proficiency developing tests from specifications 
    o Proficiency developing product-independent tests and functional libraries 
    o Strong experience with webdriver tools (like Selenium, Capybara, and Puppeteer) 
    o Proficiency with performance testing concepts and approaches including using tools like JMeter or similar
    o Proficiency with test framework design patterns and best practices 
    o Expertise with programming languages such as C# or Java and scripting languages 
    o Proficiency with test frameworks (JUnit, NUnit, Mocha, RSpec, and the like) 
    o Proficiency working with source control, development environments, build tools, and deployment pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Jira, Docker, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Azure Service Fabric).

Experience with load/performance testing of web-based applications and RESTful APIs.
Experience with mobile application test automation.
