We seek a dynamic, high-energy account director to join our team as a leader. Someone who never stops learning, thrives on entrepreneurial hustle, and boasts a killer track record meeting and exceeding expectations (especially with B2B tech clients). If you're a strategic thinker, a communications guru, a masterful writer, a proven leader, and an all-around stellar individual, we should talk. We’re looking for a special someone whose professional network is vibrant, whose business development skills are top-notch, and whose relationships with journalists and analysts are mutually beneficial. Bottom line, we seek a team player who knows the value of collaboration but also takes initiative and leads the way in an inclusive manner.
While a passion for communications and leadership is a start, we're also looking for candidates with:
- 6-10 years of solid agency experience in the tech arena
- Previous work in health tech, cleantech, security, cloud-based technologies, AI, or enterprise software
- A demonstrated track record of positive client results
- New business wins (as a lead or primary contributor)
- At least 3 years of team management in a remote or hybrid work environment
- The ability to translate creative thought into original program elements
- A bachelor's degree in liberal arts
- Previous experience as a reporter, writer, editor or industry analyst
While our team is predominately remote, the ideal candidate for this position will reside in the Pacific time zone.

This hands-on strategic role has responsibilities that include:
- Account planning, budget management, and program measurement
- Integrated program management (for PR and marketing clients)
- Business development (with a focus on health tech and cleantech industries)
- Involvement in agency marketing activities
- Effective mentoring and coaching in a hybrid (yet significantly remote) setting
- Active media and analyst relationship cultivation
- Materials review/editing (e.g., account plans and proposals, thought leadership content, website copy, etc.)
