Our Company is an established leader in the design, manufacture and customization of unique automated packaging machines for the medical device, cosmetic and high end product industries. We currently have an opening in our Ronkonkoma location for a dynamic, experienced Inventory Associate (Stock Room Leader).
Responsibilities include:
- use MRP system to maintain inventory counts
- Identification of on-hand shortages and report to Planning Dept/Purchasing for replenishment
- Shipping and Receiving of purchased material
- Kitting of work orders for Production
- Timely and accurate stocking of received material
- Timely and accurate stocking of completed sub assemblies
- Maintaining a neat and orderly stockroom
- Light Data Entry
- Implements changes or enhancements to procedures to improve productivity, efficiency and service
- Ensures timely completion and accountability of all work
Job Qualifications/Skills:
- 2 years related experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experienced stocking hardware and electronic components.
- Intermediate experience using MS office including Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask, organization, communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business and technical priorities.
- Knowledge of MRP (DBA) software a plus.
- Experience of MRP Procedures and Lean Manufacturing a plus.
- Able to Lift up to 25 lbs.
