Our Company is an established leader in the design, manufacture and customization of unique automated packaging machines for the medical device, cosmetic and high-end product industries. We currently have an opening in our Ronkonkoma, NY location for a qualified Machine Builder/Assembler.
CANDIDATE :
- Must have strong background in MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY.
- Ability to interpret and work from schematic assembly drawings.
- Use and maintain various hand and/or power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters.
- Must have proven ability in the assembly of complex automated machinery as well as expertise in trouble-shooting problems and implementing hands-on solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial machinery business.
- Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure, at times, to meet deadlines.
- Good problem solving skills and be self-motivated.
- Reliable, punctual ready to work.
- Must have own tools.
- Must have reliable transportation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school/GED. 3-5 year experience. Good verbal and written communication skills.
