The Atlanta office is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing family office team which provides daily accounting, financial operations and other family offices services for a diverse group of clients. As a member of the client service team, the Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for the accurate daily processing of expenses bills and deposits for multiple clients. This individual will work to identify and resolve billing related issues and answer payment related questions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that the clients’ bills are paid in an accurate and timely manner

• Process clients’ accounts payable, including payments by check, ACH/Wire and online payments

• Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date

• Ensure adequate funds are available to cover any client cash needs

• Serve as main point of contact for vendor communications

• Process client payroll on a weekly basis ensuring the disbursement of funds is timely and accurate

• Issue and maintain the annual 1099s

• Other family office duties as assigned or needed

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education-bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related fields required

• 2+ years experience

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable preferred

• Fundamental knowledge of finance is a plus

• Professional and discrete; able to handle sensitive information appropriate
