As a Sr Gameplay/Networking engineer, your focus on creating and supporting game systems and gameplay mechanics that will keep people entertained in a multiplayer/mmo environment.  Part of this process will be working with the design team and other progrmmers, you will provide guidance on the key features that you will be implementing.  Collaboration is heavily promoted.  So, if you've got some great ideas for gameplay, then bring it to the table.


Responsibilities

•  Implement solutions to synchronize gameplay systems between multiple clients

•  Analyze bandwidth and CPU usage in network systems

•  Work with designers and other programmers to establish guidelines and best practices for developing in an online environment

•  Maintain existing network code and improve / refactor as necessary

•  Work on related online features, such as matchmaking, telemetry, stat reporting, replay

•  Debug/analyze issues in scenarios where multiple clients and servers interact


Qualifications

•  Bachelor of Science or Engineering in an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience

•  5 years of experience as a Gameplay Programmer or similar role

•  2 years of development experience in UE4 preferred

•  Familiarity with Epic Online Subsystem

•  Expert in C++

•  Strong knowledge of multiplayer game systems

•  Familar with best practices of software development

•  Adaptable to evolving corporate culture
