Job Description

As a Technical Animator your main responsibility will be to design, create, test, and maintain character rigs to meet technical and artistic needs


• Design, create, test, and maintain character rigs/setups to meet technical and artistic needs

• Collaborate with animators to improve rig controls

• Develop and maintain character motion and deformation systems

• Develop new techniques and processes to solve character production and optimization challenges

• Create, setup and maintain Animation Blueprints in UE4

• Support Character Artists when applicable


• 3+ years of production experience

• 2+ Rigging experience in Maya (entertainment or game environments)

• In-depth knowledge of Maya Rigging, Skeletal, and Animation systems

• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine's Character and Animation systems

• General knowledge of Unreal Engine systemes

• Strong understanding of both Figure and Facial Anatomy

• Python and MEL a plus

• Mocap Experience a plus

• Passion for technical problem solving
