The Product Manager of Machine Learning will be an essential member of the Language I/O team. The primary mission for this role is to become a trusted member of the machine learning team, the person that engineers will rely on to quickly convey and clarify business requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
Language I/O’s mission is to provide the most accurate and secure real-time conversation solutions for business. Our combination of translation and generative AI products allow organizations to increase support capacity and expand to new markets, without requiring a proportionate expansion of their support headcount and contact center overhead.
Our next phase of growth is focused on providing impactful solutions to improve agent efficiency via generative AI. As we expand further into generative AI solutions, the Product Manager of Machine Learning role will be critical in helping to translate business needs into engineering requirements, and in delivering successful products with high adoption rates.
Success in this role will be directly measured by the impact your ideas will have on Language I/O’s growth. You will be able to tie a direct line between your research, requirements, and releases to company revenue objectives. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in leveraging cutting-edge technologies and ideas to deliver measurable results. This role will involve extensive product development with AI and ML technologies, so previous experience with NLP techniques and/or generative AI is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Translate company objectives into product roadmap
Apply cutting-edge AI technologies to solve customer pain points
Conduct market research to identify new revenue opportunities
Analyze usage data to understand changes in customer behavior and their impacts to the business
Interview customers to gather user insight
Design and guide engineering teams in providing short-term product deliverables that add up to a long-term strategy
Work closely with engineering teams to define and clarify user stories
Create and refine compelling product visions and mockups
Prioritize the product backlog
Conduct user acceptance testing
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner
Quick learner with excellent attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Able to think analytically, systemically, and conceptually
Ability to gather, analyze and transform requirements into user stories
Ability to prioritize and collaborate in a multi-tasking environment
Ability to negotiate a backlog with stakeholders
Experience with agile software development practice and tools
Experience with Salesforce and CRM is preferred
