Summary:

Rheumatology Associates is seeking a dynamic leader experienced in Revenue Cycle Management and managing external billing services vendors as well as internal employee teams to join our corporate leadership team.

Your responsibilities will be to collaborate with the leadership team, our vendors and internal RCM resources to direct and improve Rheumatology Associates’ Revenue Cycle from the moment a patient engages new patient onboarding until final payment has been received in full.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Implement a system to ensure that accurate billing information is entered into the billing system.
  • Supervise the Revenue Cycle Department in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.
  • Manage staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Oversee the hiring and training of staff.
  • Efficiently manage patient complaints in respect to billing and collections.
  • Plan and structure the department workflow and staffing.
  • Correctly code diagnoses and procedures.


Manager of Revenue Cycle Management Requirements:

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software.
  • eClinicalWorks experience.
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing.
  • Sound knowledge of health insurance providers.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing diverse teams and leading change.
  • Experience creating new processes or improving existing.


Education:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
