Project Manager
We are looking for an innovative and high-performing individual to join a fast-growing software company. As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of multiple medium-to-large scale projects. In this role, you will collaborate with and direct resources from various departments within the organization. You will have overall accountability of the projects which includes defining milestones, tracking and reporting progress, removing blocks , and driving projects to on-time completion with high.
Essential Duties
- Break down complex projects into clearly defined work plans that can be assigned to resources and tracked to completion.
- Anticipate and manage deviations from the project’s schedule, evaluate alternative solutions and take appropriate actions to avoid or mitigate these deviations.
- Identify project bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Coordinate among cross functional teams and ensure strong communication between all groups.
- Effective scheduling and meeting management.
- Stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
- Create & maintain quality executive level status reports and deliver Project presentations to Executive team.
- Identify/report project risks as well as compile a risk mitigation plan to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Must have 3 years' experience managing software development and IT projects
- Strong technical background and experience working with cloud technologies
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Experience working with common project management software tools, such as JIRA and Smartsheet
- Proven organizational skills including attention to detail with the ability to handle and track multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to facilitate, work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams
- Communicate precisely and clearly, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels
- Strong analytical, estimating, and problem-solving skills
