EZLynx is expanding our Product Team! We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking team player that will enhance the development of the product. This position will be responsible for developing, understanding and performing the research, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, user stories, use cases, user interfaces, defect management and other product lifecycle specifications. Will work with other analysts and product managers to support efforts to improve processes and provide decision support for feature development. Act as a liaison among stakeholders to understand the structures, policies, and operations as well as work cross-functionally with product managers, product engineering, quality assurance, and external stakeholders to build customer facing solutions for the insurance industry

In This Role You’ll:

·         Researches and compiles internal and external requirements from sources such as interviews, surveys, and related opportunities;

  • Evaluates and prioritizes information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, converts information from high-level business issues and opportunities into detailed functional requirements;
  • Creates business process flow charts from the analysis of user tasks and workflows;
  • Writes user stories, use cases, scenarios, reports, business cases, and user manuals resulting from the business process flows;
  • Constructs mockups of user interface designs and report outputs;
  • Collaborates with developers, product managers, other analysts and subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs;
  • Acts as the liaison between the customer community (external and internal customers), the software development team, customer support;
  • Creates, updates, and maintains enterprise wide requirements documentation under supervision of the senior analysts;
  • Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers.

Here’s What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience as a business analyst in a customer facing role
  • Proficient in oral and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information
  • Proficient planning, organizational and time management skills with the proclivity to follow-up and follow through
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with a diverse group of customers, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Aptitude to work independently to define concepts with minimal direction
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Visual Studio a plus
  • Insurance industry, business administration, accounting, or finance knowledge a plus
