From developing an email marketing strategy through campaign development and execution to delivering performance analysis and reporting, we’re looking for an experienced Email Marketing Automation Specialist to join our collaborative and creative team.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, management, and growth of a new email automation program for our company. Your major areas of accountability will include developing and executing email programs that support our marketing efforts, ensuring database cleanliness, optimizing campaign performance, and implementing testing strategies. You will also monitor and drive key metrics, including open, click-through and conversion rates, as well as regularly improve acquisition, activation, and engagement metrics. Developing, designing, and implementing drip and nurture campaigns are a top priority for this role.

In This Role You’ll:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end journey and life cycle email campaigns, including campaign planning and design, list management, campaign health monitoring, and post-campaign analysis
  • Develop and communicate a global view across email initiatives to ensure campaigns work together as part of a cohesive strategy to drive persona journey and purchase funnel
  • Build scalable processes that ensure best practices in marketing automation and lead generation
  • Develop, build, launch and maintain email campaigns and marketing automation programs, including audience segmentation, lead qualification and lead nurturing
  • Make data-driven decisions and identify new opportunities for growth and efficiencies
  • Provide concrete roadmaps for drip campaigns, triggered emails and other transactional emails
  • Measure and report on KPIs and develop plans to improve performance and optimize email marketing effectiveness
  • Create email designs compatible with multi-channel engagement, including responsive design, HTML and text
  • Create new and refine existing reporting capabilities, automating reporting as needed
  • Build and implement marketing workflows and user segmentation/scoring
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international legislation, when applicable (e.g., GDPR, CASL, CAN-SPAM)


Here’s What You Bring:

  • Collaborative work style with a balanced mix of creative and analytical thinking
  • 3+ years’ experience managing and marketing to B2B/B2C audiences
  • 3+ years’ experience with Pardot (and Salesforce) or similar marketing automation tools (Pardot strongly preferred.)
  • 3+ years’ experience building large-scale email campaigns, inclusive of strategy, execution, and reporting
  • Excellent multi-tasker who can execute quickly and accurately
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, segmentation, CAN-SPAM, email marketing concepts, and best practices
  • HTML, CSS and Salesforce experience helpful
