Scrum Master

This position will serve as a Scrum Master and work closely with Engineering teams and Product Owners to deliver product enhancements by leveraging agile best practices, project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

In This Role You’ll:

  • Facilitate Scrum meetings: Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Story Point Estimation, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
  • Proactively help the team identify and resolve impediments and shield team from interruptions during the Sprint
  • Track various metrics like the Burndown Chart and Team Velocity to help the team successfully deliver working software and enable continuous improvement
  • Help product owners refine and prioritize the backlog so that the team has a prioritized backlog for the next Sprint
  • Serve multiple scrum teams to help them succeed
  • Manage software releases by working closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps and IT teams. Create and execute release plans for multiple products releases simultaneously and drive them to completion

 

Here’s What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum process, language, and ceremonies
  • 3 – 5 years’ Scrum Master experience
  • Ability to work efficiently with co-located as well as distributed scrum teams
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • Excellent skills in facilitation, organization, attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Strong analytical, estimating, and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate precisely and clearly, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels with a strong command of the English language
