Open Position – Video Editor

THI & PHSU are seeking a St. Louis-based, bilingual Video Editor that can support the growing demand for video production and editing at PHSU and Tiber, specifically helping with lecture videos for our medical education programs. This position can be a hybrid of both in-house and remote work.

 

Responsibilities

The PHSU Video Editor’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Video Editing – edit videos for PHSU departments using software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.
• Video Recording – record videos for PHSU departments in the Video Studio on campus and/or on-site in zoom or Faculty office.
• Audio Recording & Editing – work with Faculty to create narrations for lecture videos.
• Collaborate – work with Faculty and Staff across PHSU departments.
• Punctuality – be on-time to start work and arrive early for meetings.
• Professionalism – always treat Faculty and Staff with respect and a service-oriented mentality.
• On-Time Deliverables – deliver work products (videos) on or before the deadlines.

 

Qualifications

 

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
• Education:  Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience: At least two years of experience working as a Video Editor or Videographer.
• Ability to quickly learn technologies and product functionality.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), presentation, planning and organizational skills.
• Masterful attention to detail and proven project management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to identify and propose new processes and procedures.
