The PHSU St. Louis campus is seeking an Educational Technology Support Specialist.  This is position is a core member of our team and will support the quickly growing campus & students.  This is a full-time position at the PHSU Saint Louis campus located at the historic Globe Building in downtown.

This position reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, PHSU St. Louis Campus. This position will work of unison with the Ed Tech & Online Learning Team at Ponce (Main Campus).


~ Educational Technology Support ~

  • Provide support for instructional activities that use technology at PHSU St. Louis, including but not limited to: Training for Faculty & Students on platforms, specifically Canvas LMS, ExamSoft, iClicker, & Zoom.
  • Help Faculty with preparation of technology used to support teaching & learning / the curricular materials.
  • Setup & administer exams using ExamSoft for PHSU (and Partner) students.
  • Troubleshoot & solve students’ educational technology issues.
  • Coordinate & collaborate with the Ponce-based IT department to resolve account setup, emails, etc.
  • Provide support for PHSU’s Ed Tech & Online Learning Team by helping to manage Zoom broadcasts from studios & zooms at the PHSU St. Louis campus studios.  For example, this position will help setup and administer Zoom broadcasts from the St. Louis campus to remote students.


  • Minimum three (3) years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a similar domain from an accredited institution.  Master’s Degree preferred. Bachelors’ degree on Information Technology will be acceptable.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience using ExamSoft is highly preferred.
  • Experience using Canvas LMS is highly preferred.
  • Experience using Kaltura Video Hosting System is preferred.
  • Experience teaching or training adults is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to identify and propose new processes and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively on large scale projects with staff at all levels in a University.
