We’re looking to hire a Wordpress developer to help optimize the functionality and design of our blog. Position based out of our Los Angeles office, remote work is okay. Come join us!
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a WordPress developer to help optimize our blog. This would be a small project around a few hours a month, which would include tasks like:
Working with a custom template that requires troubleshooting on the back-end. Having a strong coding background is a must!
Develop customer flows directing blog traffic to our ecommerce site built on Shopify+.
Suggest/implement analytics tracking within GA.
Suggest/implement features to grow the blog into a strong acquisition tool (SEO strategy, email capture, integrated shopping experiences, etc.)
Suggest/implement improvements to asset management and other aspects that contribute to site performance.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working on Wordpress sites.
2+ years of SEO experience preferred.
Strong experience in web optimization with case studies of previous successes.
Have a design portfolio and website that demonstrates experience designing responsive layouts for desktop, mobile web that exhibit excellent use of information architecture, layout, color and imagery.
Track record of success building engaging user experiences while driving company impact.
Ability to translate insights from user studies into meaningful user flows that create a delightful user experience.
Experience building and evangelizing a design system.
Shopify plus experience.
Love and understand what it takes to deliver a great customer experience.
Thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Ability to work directly with senior team across the business to lead customer focused growth solutions.
Strong verbal and written communicating skills and can effectively communicate to all levels in the organization.
Analytical, resourceful and a creative problem solver with the ability to quickly identify roadblocks and drive viable solutions.
