Director, Insights & Analytics

Position Overview

The Director, Insights & Analytics will lead the development of Cabaletta’s commercial insights capability, integrating primary market research, competitive intelligence, data analytics, and forecasting to support key strategic decisions.

This individual will translate complex market, clinical, and healthcare data into actionable insights that shape commercial strategy for Cabaletta’s pipeline of autoimmune cell therapies.  The role will work cross-functionally with commercial strategy, market access, clinical development, investor relations, corporate strategy, and finance to ensure the organization has a clear and data-driven view of market opportunity, competitive dynamics, and launch readiness.

This role requires a highly hands‑on leader who is comfortable personally executing analyses, building models, and managing vendors in a lean, resource‑constrained environment.


Responsibilities Include

Strategic Insights

  • Build and operationalize Cabaletta’s insights & analytics function from the ground up, including defining the operating model, selecting tools and vendors, and establishing repeatable processes for insight generation and decision support.

 

  • Develop and lead Cabaletta’s commercial insights and analytics strategy across priority autoimmune indications.
  • Translate market data, physician insights, and treatment dynamics into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Provide decision support to the Chief Business Officer and executive leadership team on portfolio strategy, indication prioritization, and commercialization planning.

Market Research & Customer Insights

  • Design and execute primary market research with key stakeholders including physicians, payers, patients, and advocacy groups.
  • Generate insights on diagnostic pathways, treatment algorithms, unmet needs, and adoption drivers across autoimmune diseases.
  • Partner with clinical and medical teams to ensure commercial insights inform trial design, endpoints, and value propositions.

Competitive Intelligence

  • Establish and lead a competitive intelligence capability across autoimmune cell therapy, biologics, and emerging modalities.
  • Monitor scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial developments in competing programs.
  • Deliver executive-level competitive insights to inform strategic positioning and launch planning.

Analytics & Forecasting

  • Build commercial forecasting models for pipeline assets across multiple indications.
  • Integrate epidemiology, treatment flows, payer dynamics, and adoption curves into robust market models.
  • Develop dashboards and analytical tools to track market dynamics, competitive developments, and launch readiness metrics.

Launch Planning Support

  • Provide insights to support market access strategy, pricing considerations, and value messaging.
  • Partner with commercial strategy teams to shape target product profiles, positioning, and brand strategy.
  • Inform development of commercial scenarios and launch readiness plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 

  • Partner across commercial, clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory, and corporate strategy to ensure insights inform late-stage development decisions, BLA readiness, anticipated label scenarios, and post-approval evidence planning,
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Manage external vendors supporting market research and data analytics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MS) preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech insights, analytics, or commercial strategy.
  • Experience in rare disease, immunology, autoimmune disease, or cell therapy strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
    • Primary market research
    • Competitive intelligence
    • Forecasting and market modeling
    • Strategic analytics
  • Strong ability to translate complex scientific and market data into strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting pre-launch and launch planning in biotechnology or specialty therapeutics.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
