Northramp is looking for a highly motivated individual that is willing to support an exciting IT Agile project in the federal space.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience providing IT program management support by creating, capturing and managing operational and system requirements across several project and stakeholder teams.  Additionally, the candidate has experience analyzing, documenting and updating business process and system artifacts.  As a Northramp Business Analyst you will be responsible for providing high quality deliverables and continuously outstanding support to our clients.

 

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst who will:

 

  • Work and communicate across multiple project teams to define, capture and manage IT and business requirements in support of operational and maintenance (O&M) and cloud migration activities for a mission-critical application at a large federal agency.
  • Help design, document, and maintain system and business artifacts including, but not limited to, architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOP), workflow diagrams.
  • Assist with standard project management practices such as requirements gathering, capturing meeting minutes, creating project plans/schedules etc. 
  • Support Agile-based activities and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Scrum cadences,
  • Initiative, epic and user story development and tracking,
  • Backlog grooming,
  • Risk and dependency identification and tracking,
  • Logistics coordination for sprint planning and retro activities, and
  • User story blocker analysis and resolution.
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with project team members and client stakeholders.
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.

 

Additionally, the ideal candidate has:

 

  • Advanced fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, communication skills, and can work well independently.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, research and resolve issues, and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to organize and drive multiple activity streams.

     

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years consulting experience.
  • Ability to work well independently and within team settings, requiring minimal direction/oversight from team leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logical thinker and intellectual curiosity.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant Agile certifications.
  • ITIL, PMP or any other IT Industry related certifications.
  • Experience working with Atlassian suite of project management tools (JIRA, Insight, Confluence).

 

Clearance
