The candidate should also be comfortable asking probing questions as to why something functions the way it does and whether or not it can be improved.
We're currently looking for a IT Service Management (ITSM) Manager who has:
- Demonstrated experience providing expert advice and strategic guidance to senior level clients to develop and mature IT service management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management principles
- Ability to lead and integrate a team of ITSM consultants; manage and disseminate workload, oversee quality delivery, and build strong relationships with federal clients.
- Hands-on experience with the design and implementation of incident, problem, and knowledge management processes, and know how these, and the other ITIL processes, integrate
- Hands on experience with designing and implementing a continual service improvement program including the application of performance metrics (synthetic monitoring)
- Hands-on experience with Dev/Ops
- Experience identifying improvement opportunities, defining procedures, reducing complexity, streamlining service delivery, and integrating business processes
- Developed and maintained all ITSM process plans, policies, documents, procedures, and artifacts
- Experience with producing client-ready deliverables and briefing senior leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- US citizenship; ability to obtain a security clearance; ability to pass, and maintain, a federal background check and drug screen successfully
- 10+ years of related and progressive experience combining IT Service Management delivery, systems/solutions implementation, project management, operations/infrastructure, quality process design as well as developing and managing SLAs, KPIs, and critical success factors for IT services
- 4+ years of supervisory experience leading a team to deliver quality outcomes
- 3+ years Federal consulting experience
- ITIL v3/2011 Expert certification (with ITIL 4 transition cert obtained within 1 year)
