GrainBridge is seeking a talented Product Owner who is passionate about creating innovative solutions for the grain industry. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the grain marketing life cycle and excellent communication skills to communicate the requirements needed to help us build the next generation of Ag software for North America's producers. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join our highly collaborative team to build customer-facing enterprise Ag solutions with a product discovery approach. As a Product Owner on the GrainBridge team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your extensive Ag industry knowledge to create the requirements that determine the direction of the product.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize your deep understanding of the Ag industry and business processes to communicate requirements to our UX and Development teams.
Understand external partner business processes to create cohesion between the systems.
Make decisions for the product based on information and input from various sources such as your previous ag industry experiences, user feedback, data analytics, subject matter experts and partner input.
Define the business problem to be solved and value of features being created in the product.
Work closely with business analysts to define business processes, communicate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and work with the technology team to deliver solutions.
Conduct and facilitate meetings to share ideas and give direction on the product.
Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and leaders.
Strong communication skills to work closely with clients, technicians and leadership.
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements by ultimately signing off and approving developed features for production deployment.
Perform user acceptance testing and aide in the overall quality of the product.
Work with UX designers to align a customer experience that delights users to the technical solution that can be delivered.
Excellent organizational skills to adapt and manage competing priorities and resources.
Assist in determining the strategic direction of the product along with leadership
Qualifications and Skills
