Position Summary:
GrainBridge, LLC is seeking a team member to lead, manage, and support the GrainBridge Education and Outreach program. This individual will lead the efforts in supporting the current 600+ participating high school and collegiate programs that utilize the GrainBridge technology and curriculum available through the outreach program. This person will lead in-person and virtual training sessions, enhance and develop training and educational materials, and develop and execute strategies to meet the needs of GrainBridge educational users. This individual is also responsible for managing and developing relationships with external organizations who financially support the outreach program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
Program Management:
- Provide leadership in developing program vision and goals to enhance GrainBridge educational resources
- Identify opportunities to further grow the program and enhance user engagement
Training and Development:
- Create and conduct in-person and webinar trainings with participating and prospective educators in utilizing GrainBridge technology and educational resources
- Develop and maintain curriculum focused on risk management and agribusiness concepts
- Develop and maintain supplemental training materials to educate users about GrainBridge technology and agribusiness concepts
Communications and Marketing:
- Develop and manage relationships with external program sponsors of the education and outreach program
- Plan, prepare, attend and promote GrainBridge at local and state FFA functions and Ag teacher training events as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with high school and collegiate educators who participate in the outreach program
- Write and develop material to promote the outreach program to existing and potential users
- Manage relationships with state FFA staff, including state FFA Associations and Foundations
- Report to program sponsors and GrainBridge Management Team on success and growth of program
Customer Support:
- Support the current 600+ participating high schools and colleges with GrainBridge accounts
- Serve as point of contact for educators related to account access and educational resources
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with educators by providing a consistent quality level of service that is timely, thorough, and responsive to the needs of educational users.
- Create and manage educational accounts in the GrainBridge system
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in facilitating or presenting in front of small and large groups, both in person and virtually
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently to achieve goals in a timely manner
- Ability to develop and execute on project plans with timelines
- Desire to learn, grow, and adapt based on evolving customer needs
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in agribusiness, education, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in agriculture, business or education, or equivalent experience
- Agricultural background with understanding of FFA and high school & collegiate Ag programs preferred
- Willingness to travel 20-30% of time
