Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement secure and scalable code following best practices and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into applications when appropriate.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, particularly in consumer-facing brands, for app development and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Flutter.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Familiarity with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the health tech or biotechnology industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of data security and privacy regulations, especially in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Compensation:

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $70,000-100,000 per annum at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
