DuBois Integrity Academy (DIA) is hiring an MTSS Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. DuBois Integrity STEM Academy’s academic program is built on two main pillars that drive significant achievement: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) combined with Blended Learning. We implement theme-based, interdisciplinary, integrated curricula to enhance instruction and learning. A mix of carefully managed behavioral studies and innovative neurological research supports theme-based education as a way to improve opportunities for all students to succeed. 

Job Summary

The MTSS Coordinator is responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing improvement of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to ensure all students receive appropriate academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions. This role supports data-based decision-making, collaborates with staff, and promotes equitable student outcomes.


 

Key Responsibilities

 

Program Leadership & Implementation

    • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the MTSS framework across the school or district
    • Ensure alignment of MTSS with curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices
    • Support fidelity of Tier 1 (core instruction), Tier 2 (targeted), and Tier 3 (intensive) interventions for K-8
    • This is a District Level Position

Data Analysis & Progress Monitoring

    • Facilitate data collection, analysis, and interpretation of student performance data
    • Guide staff in using data to identify students in need of support
    • Monitor the progress of interventions and adjust strategies as needed

Collaboration & Team Support

    • Coordinate and facilitate MTSS/RTI team meetings
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and specialists
    • Partner with families to support student success

Professional Development

    • Provide training and coaching to staff on MTSS processes, interventions, and best practices
    • Support teachers in implementing evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies

Intervention Oversight

    • Assist in selecting and implementing research-based interventions
    • Ensure proper documentation of interventions and student progress
    • Support compliance with state and federal requirements

Equity & Student Support

    • Promote equitable practices and reduce disproportionality in student outcomes
    • Support the integration of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional systems

 

Qualifications

 

Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
    • Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, School Psychology, or related field
    • Tier I Leadership certification (preferred)

Experience

    • 3–5 years of teaching or student support experience
    • Experience with RTI/MTSS frameworks and intervention strategies
    • Experience in analyzing student data and progress monitoring

Certifications (as applicable)

    • Valid teaching certification
    • Leadership or instructional coaching endorsement (preferred)
