Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Office Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and Access, and must be a certified Microsoft Office Associate. This role involves delivering comprehensive training to help individuals and teams enhance their proficiency in these applications for business and professional use.

This is a part-time (20 to 30 hours per week), remote position located in TN.  Pay is $35 per hour with no benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions on Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and Access).

  • Develop training materials and resources tailored to the needs of different learning styles and objectives.

  • Assess learners' needs and adapt training methods accordingly.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

  • Provide support and guidance to learners, including troubleshooting and answering specific application-related queries.

  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Office applications to ensure training content is current.

  • Coordinate with IT and administrative teams to ensure availability of necessary training tools and software.

  • Assist in the development of internal documentation and procedures to optimize the use of Microsoft Office within the organization. 

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Microsoft Office Associate.

  • Proven experience as a trainer or educator, specifically in teaching Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and Access.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

  • Patience and professionalism in teaching and interacting with learners of varying skill levels.

  • Experience in developing training materials and curriculum design is preferred.
