Specifically, Persevere provides technology training, career readiness instruction and support, wraparound case management, individualized job-based mentoring, and job placement services for justice-impacted individuals and people at risk for justice involvement.

Job Overview
The Director of Constituent Engagement will work with the CEO to spearhead the organization's marketing and communications initiatives, aiming to elevate brand awareness, broaden audience reach, and deepen stakeholder engagement. This role will encompass the strategic planning, creative development, and tactical execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns, public relations endeavors, and digital engagement strategies. Additionally, the Director will oversee the optimization and utilization of the organization's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enhance constituent interactions, personalize communications, and cultivate lasting relationships.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate and partner across teams to design in-depth customer journeys and experiences

Build marketing strategies and tactical plans for constituent facing campaigns to increase awareness and engagement

Work in partnership with CEO, IT and Donor Relations Manager to develop and monitor an integrated CRM strategy

Develop and manage tactical marketing initiatives to ensure that a continuous stream of relevant content is delivered to target audiences via multiple channels, including social media, email, and web

Partner with CEO on development of campaign content, driving deeper donor insights, acquisition, retention and growth efforts

Support digital marketing capabilities

Identify and research trends in marketing technology and continuously update team on new capabilities to enhance marketing strategies and digital portfolio

Qualifications
-
5+ years of demonstrated brand, marketing and communications management, progressive experience that demonstrates leadership ability across an organization including distributed and remote staff leadership and management as well as influence management skills both within and across an organization.

Proven experience in a leadership role for a digital marketing agency consisting of advertising/marketing/communications, consulting/content production/strategy development.

Experience with marketing technology, specifically Campaign Management and Data Management Platforms.

Strong strategic, analytical, project management, and both written and oral communications skills are required.

E-mail marketing and loyalty program management experience.

Ability to review metrics on an on-going basis, analyze, draw conclusions, and recommend immediate action.

Solid understanding of analytics, including segmentation and applicable metrics for all tactics and channels.

Passion for user-centric marketing and strong interest in leveraging data to achieve business outcomes; ability to shape stories with data.

Experience developing centrally delivered organizational marketing and creative functions, and both internal and public facing communications teams and processes a must.

Masterful command of multi-platform/channel digital campaign operations and team management.

Passion for public service, citizen engagement and communication.

Exceptional interpersonal skills for internal and external relationship building at all levels of the organization, including cross-departmental colleagues, C-suite, and clients.

Experience with relevant software and proven ability to extract and analyze data.

Communications and brand/marketing development and management experience, including media management and internal communications tools, systems, and processes; expertise in content planning and developing across an organization.

Strategic and tactical processes, methodology, and applications, including strategic planning, market research, project management, and distributed training and execution/support.

Exceptional writing and communications skills required.

Experience influencing and directing layout/design development (web, video, and print) and evaluation preferred.

Experience with creating and executing integrated programs across a variety of departments and media distribution channels is preferred
