Position Summary:

As a SOAR Developer, you will be a key member of Cyberleaf’s team with responsibilities to ensure quality development, and implementation of SOAR functions that meet customer needs for Cyber Security operational continuity.  This is a full-time remote position, with possible travel. If desired this can be on site at our Fort Myers, HQ offices.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Provides system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases.

·       Integrates third party products.

·       Translates technical specifications into code for moderately complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients.

·       Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports.

·       Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation.

·       Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule.

·       Provides follow up production support.

·       Participates and leads in the design of; code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues.

·       Participates in systems analysis activities.

·       Understands business functions and technology needs. Understands client's tools, technologies, and applications/databases, including those that interface with business area and systems.

·       Learns and complies with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures.

·       Contribute to security software and network security design innovation.

·       Stay current on new technology, product, and standards.

·       Other job duties, as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or relevant field

·       Must have working knowledge of Splunk and SOAR Functions

·       Experience with any SOAR Platform.

·       Understanding of Incident response process.

·       Experience in designing Playbooks with SOAR platforms.

·       Experience with Scripting in Python, PowerShell, and other’s


Desired Experience and Capabilities:

·       Experience with Logic Hub or Sumo Logic

·       Use of code review tools, static analysis etc

·       Experience as a software architect

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a fast-moving team and balance/prioritize multiple tasks;
• Keep other team members up to date on development schedules and projects;
• Must be innovative, flexible and think creatively to overcome obstacles.
• Ability to manage equipment supplier networks, supplier and contractor relationships successfully.

Organizational Framework:

• This position reports to the VP or Director of Cybersecurity Development and Operations.
• This position has no direct reports.
• Advises, consults and coordinates with:

o   Customers     

o   Consultants

o   Vendors

 

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:


• Extended time on a computer – repetitive motion.
• Must be capable and eligible for both domestic and international travel.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer/pre-placement drug screen, background check, and able to pass a government Secret or TS clearance process if required.
