Summary: 

Atomica is seeking a diligent Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure customer satisfaction and meet applicable regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer will lead process and product quality efforts using 6 sigma, 8d etc. to reduce systemic issues (CAPA/CAR, RMA, complaints, scrap, rework etc.) 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Audit and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems 
  • Develop, implement and improve IATF 16949 systems in the fab 
  • Lead and improve major quality engineering and compliance initiatives  
  • Lead process and product quality efforts using 6 sigma, 8d etc. to support systemic issues (CAPA/CAR, RMA, complaints, scrap, rework etc.) 
  • Team with Manufacturing and Engineering on improvement projects 
  • Supplier Quality Management 
  • Analyze product, process, gage, customer and supplier data for compliance and improvement 
  • Support QA department projects 

 

Requirements:  

  • BA/BS degree required, or advanced degree in engineering / scientific field 
  • Minimum 3 years wafer fab experience in a quality role 
  • Working knowledge of SPC and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) 
  • Certified ISO 9001 internal auditor desired 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
