Summary:   

Atomica is looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer who will thrive in our fast-paced and diverse R&D environment. The Technical Sales Engineer will report directly to the Head of Sales, and work directly with potential customers to assess requirements, determine feasibility of programs, and provide a technical solution. This role requires a confident, strong communicator who can seamlessly translate highly complex technical information. This is an opportunity to grow to be the technical face of Atomica. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide front-end technical support on sales activities, including understanding customer requirements and communication our value proposition. 
  • Support customer proposals process, including drafting of SOW and documenting deal progress in Salesforce CRM 
  • Understand Atomica and competitors’ technologies, differentiation, and fabrication capabilities 
  • Comprehend customer requirements, generate risk assessment, and deliver cost benefit analysis 
  • Provide marketing support in attending technical discovery calls, creating use cases, case studies, white papers, etc. 
  • Deliver insights & recommendations to senior sales executives, share inputs from the market to the product and delivery teams 
  • Perform in a diplomatic and discrete manner while acting as a partner to sales, development, and operations. 

  

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years experience in a technical discipline. Post graduate degree a plus. 
  • Past experience in technical sales and wafer fab experience a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and hypothesis-based problem-solving skills. Able to communicate clearly, effectively with senior executives. 
  • Intimate familiarity with semiconductor or MEMS microfabrication techniques, processes and equipment 
  • Creativity and strategic thinking – and the agility necessary to master both the daily hands-on analysis and the big picture strategy 
  • Exceptional cross-functional skills. 
  • A tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
