Summary: 

Atomica is seeking a driven individual to be part of our Equipment Engineering team to support installation, maintenance, and improving semiconductor processing equipment for MEMS technology. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership of equipment availability and stability index for area of responsibility 
  • Develop the Perfect PM Program for assigned area of responsibility 
  • Ensure equipment operates in clean and defect free regime 
  • Collaborate with in technology module to select, procure, install and qualify new equipment 
  • Refurbish and recondition aging equipment within technology module 
  • Be a leader in the 5S and LEAN way of doing business   

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical field (i.e. physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science) or equivalent knowledge and/or experience 
  • BA/BS with a minimum of 4 years relevant industry experience 
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment 
  • Experience with semiconductor equipment  

 

Desired Skill Set: 

  • Strong Problem Solving methods ie.  Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D 
  • Develops good working relationships with other Engineers and Technicians 
  • Ability to present and communicate plans and ideas effectively and efficiently
