C5 SUMMER EXPERIENCES
PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR
Program Instructors lead a majority of our program curriculum and activities throughout the day, helping our young leaders connect camp activities to C5 outcomes. Program Instructors will also assist with 24 hour operations (youth supervision, administrative duties, etc.) and cabin coverage throughout the week.
Specific Responsibilities include:

Lead groups of youth through the C5 Texas leadership program curriculum and activities, promoting teamwork and problem solving skills.

Adequately prepare for each program through training and curriculum review, ensuring the highest quality instruction.

Coordinate timely preparation of materials, ensuring that everything is ready for a successful camp experience.

Familiarize and personalize current lesson plans (creating new lesson plans as program requires)

Create a learning environment conducive to cooperative and hands-on learning

Supervise and coach youth as assigned

Actively engage youth at all times

Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum 20 years of age; at least two years of college experience
Experience mentoring and advising youth
Experience in curriculum delivery; including presentation and facilitation skills.
CPR certified or willing to become CPR certified.
Experience in youth development or college advisement.
Assignment will include some hours starting in June Staff training takes place June 28-July 2, with summer camp beginning July 14-August 1.
