Embright is a growing clinically integrated network that includes providers from leading healthcare organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Embright’s mission is enabling collaboration to improve the health of the members we serve; and the Provider Data Manager role plays a key role in that collaboration.
The Provider Data Manager will work independently and collaboratively to maintain from start to finish the provider data management process. This process includes upstream relationships with Embright network partners and credentialing vendors, internal communication and maintenance of tools and records, and downstream work and communication with payers, TPA’s and various other stakeholders who receive Embright provider data. The role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with healthcare provider data management tools and processes, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across various stakeholder groups.
The successful incumbent will be well-organized, understand the needs of various stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem in how they use provider data, and the possess the ability to execute collaboratively to meet those needs and the provider data needs of the future.
Principle Accountabilities including, but not limited to:
- Receives updated rosters monthly from Embright network participants, tracking and maintaining any changes, additions, and deletions
- Works with third party credentialing vendor partners in maintaining provider credentialing status in Embright tools and records
- Maintains provider contract status across different payers and products in Embright PDM tools and records
- Analyzes and improves the quality of Embright provider demographic data
- Holds accountability for maintaining and enhancing provider data management tools in collaboration with the Senior Provider Network Manager
- Creates and distributes Embright rosters in multiple formats to various key stakeholders.
- Supports the Senior Provider Network Manager and Director of Network Development in ensuring a standardized, efficient provider data management process
Minimum Qualifications including, but not limited to:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, specifically working with text-based data
- Preferred that candidate be comfortable using Microsoft Access databases
- Ability to use data to inform action
- Strong organizational skills
- Exhibits a growth mindset
Experience Requirements:
- 3 + years experience in healthcare operations for an integrated health care delivery system and/or with a health plan/health insurer
- Significant experience in provider network support functions including provider data management, credentialing, and receiving and sending out roster updates
