The Product Marketing Manager will support Shoreline’s product marketing function and be responsible for product messaging, product launch and GTM, competitive marketing and analyst relations. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-performing teams marketing to Data or Engineering personas.
Qualifications
You have a demonstrated history of delivering strong marketing-sourced revenue growth
5+ years in B2B tech marketing
3+ years in a product marketing or digital marketing role
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience creating positioning, messaging, and high-fidelity content assets
Experience translating technically complex features and functionality into outcomes, benefits, and solutions
Experience designing and enabling digital campaigns
Analytical and strategic
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-pacedp environment
Outstanding communications and writing skills (complete English proficiency)
Availability for domestic and occasionally global travel (10% or less)
Virtual or office location within the Pacific time-zone in the USA
Responsibilities
The person in this role will report into the VP, Product Marketing and lead execution of key product marketing initiatives, including launching new solutions, designing digital and ABM campaign blueprints, and partnering effectively with product management, engineering, leadership and agencies to achieve Shoreline revenue goals
Customer research and market segmentation – Through independent research, synthesis of external market research, and working closely with services, sales, and product management, develop a well-reasoned go-to-market strategy with market segments, buyer personas, and ideal customer profile, by region and target countries
Messaging and content – Ideate, write, test, and refine messaging to address target buyers’ pain points and needs
Collaborate with content specialists, agencies, and others to create high quality core and supplementary content marketing assets such as thought leadership, whitepapers, demos, videos, reports, blogs, case studies, and others
Digital campaigns – Design full-funnel digital campaigns to support Shoreline solutions
Partner with growth marketers and sales team to help shape and execute lead gen and demand automation tasks
Collaborate effectively with agency partners to help activate demand gen and ABM campaigns
Utilize data to effectively optimize campaigns and continuously improve ROI
Sales plays and GTM material – Collaborate with business leaders and global sales enablement to define and support focused sales plays
Create selling assets such as battlecards, sales decks, one pagers, and email scripts
Create a feedback loop for iterative enhancements
Strategic alliances – Facilitate marketing alignment and achievement of joint outcomes between Shoreline and key cloud partners.
