Head of PM Op Packs
Shoreline (www.shoreline.io) is transforming how companies manage production operations by making it as easy to manage 10,000 servers as it is to manage 1 server. Shoreline has created the world’s 1st production operations platform that provides powerful real-time debugging and tools for automating incident remediation.
Shoreline is recruiting for a Head of Product Management Op Packs who will be responsible for building a library of best practice solutions for metrics, alarms and remediation to facilitate the adoption of Shoreline’s production operations platform. This role will report to the Head of Product and will be instrumental in helping Shoreline deliver against its PLG strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
Understand the challenges faced where end-users spend the majority of their time, the challenges they face, the features they value, and existing tools that they use
Identify and prioritize the development of Op Packs to address the adoption of the Shoreline platform
Collaborate with Engineering to design solutions that delight the end user while making feature versus schedule trade-offs
Engage with the broader DevOps user community via Slack to get quick feedback on product features
Develop metrics that will help understand end user usage
Participate in daily standups and swim lane meetings with Engineering to support product delivery
Establish proper feedback loops into Engineering, Sales and Marketing
Who you are
We are looking for a team player who has:
BA or BS degree
5+ years of experience as a product manager
Working experience at a DevOps or developer tools company SaaS company
Experience developing use cases
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external
Strong verbal and written skills
Ability to synthesize complex ideas into compelling and actionable recommendations
Strong listening skills. Displays empathy when interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
Analytical and metrics-driven with strong business acumen that allows quick, informed decisions.
Open-minded and creative problem solver
Humble. willingness to seek feedback.
