Shoreline is looking for a head of marketing that will own all aspects of marketing, including product marketing, demand generation, product led growth, web and branding.  This role will report to the COO and will be a key contributor for building the overall go to market strategy for Shoreline.  This is a highly cross-functional marketing role that will work closely with product, sales and engineering.

What you'll be doing:
  • Refine Shoreline’s product messaging
  • Grow awareness in the DevOps community
  • Own Shoreline’s demand generation programs
  • Partner with Sales to grow pipeline
  • Own the Shoreline website
  • Own the Shoreline brand

Who you are

We are looking for a team player who has: 

  • 10+ years of work experience
  • 3 to 5 of years of relevant content marketing experience in a developer focused software company (preferred)
  • BA or BS degree
  • Experience growing awareness and interest among enterprise software developers, IT operators and business users for a new product
  • Deep understanding of acquisition and retention KPIs and funnels.
  • Experience building search strategy and run campaigns (both SEM and SEO)
  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and viral loop principles
  • Solid Martech experience working with marketing automation, CRM, Web, SEO and analytics tools.
  • Digital marketing experience with platforms like Google Ads, Linkedin, and Facebook.
  • Analytical and metrics-driven with strong business acumen that allows quick, informed decisions.
  • Open-minded and creative problem solver
  • Humble. willingness to seek feedback.
