THE OPPORTUNITY
The HRIT Analyst is a critical role on the HRIT Team, supporting the strategic initiatives and business needs of the entire organization. The HRIT Analyst’s primary focus will be on supporting and maintaining the Human Capital Management system, Workday. They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality HR business processes and efficient services. This individual will be an administrator for the HR systems, and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, planning and testing of system upgrades, report writing, and analyzing data and process flows for improvement and efficiencies within the system.
In addition, the HRIT Analyst will work collaboratively with department leads to assist in all phases of the system development lifecycle, including modules such as Core HR and Advanced Compensation, along with external systems such as Taleo and Kronos. Additionally, this individual will be a part of a team that provides ongoing operational development, change management, and production-related support. This individual must provide a unique set of skills, including a technical understanding of the functional areas and processes within the system, as well as strong project management and analytical skills.
Day to Day operations
- Monitor the system health and performance for processing and system issues; manage systematic alerts and notifications; research system issues and identify, evaluate, and deploy solutions
- Perform ongoing system audits, perform impact analysis due to evolving needs, change requests, and system upgrades
- Manage biannual systematic releases, including the evaluation and impact on system/setup configurations and integrations; identify risks and opportunities for release enhancements
- Contribute technical knowledge to operate within the business process framework; recommend best practices and provide solutions to support end-to-end business processes
- Perform batch uploads (including enterprise interface builders (EIBs) and mass operation management (MOM); extraction of data utilizing transformations and calculated field
- Administration and maintenance of all business processes in the HR system
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve production-related issues by leveraging best practices and developing progressive solutions, requiring in-depth expertise in the system
- Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns
- Anticipate both strategic and business needs; monitor trends to recommend functional enhancements and provide technical advice to solve business process needs and improvements
- Analyze, design, and build complex reports to satisfy the needs of business users; provide support for existing reports within the system
- Facilitate the change governance process as it relates to system-related changes, including integrations, configurations, and complex reporting
- Evaluate and examine all system changes before approval; deployment of systematic changes within the staging and production environment
- Participate in root cause analysis to recommend product enhancements to improve productivity for both the HR and IT business units
- Document technical requirements and specifications; partner with the functional analysts to identify test scenarios and provide key support in user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects/risks, and provide resolution
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Math, Human Resources; or an equivalent in education and experience
- Have five (5) + years of Analytics experience
- Have three (3) + years of Workday/ERP experience; Workday deployment and change management is strongly desired
- Possess high knowledge of HRIT processes, spreadsheet, and report applications; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; and strong time management and organizational skills
