We are seeking a seasoned, highly motivated and intellectually curious C# Developer to join our team working and play a pivotal role in implementing user-friendly, responsive and high-performance web applications for a Federal client. The C# Developer will work closely with the rest of the development team to create a robust solution that meets the client's needs.  As a core member of our development team, the C# Developer will design, develop and modify custom software solutions that solve problems, improve business operations, and manage the complexity inherent with technology change.

 

 The position will be a remote role open to US citizens residing in the United States.

This is a contingent hire. Prospective employee will be presented an offer of employment contingent upon the company winning contract.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain application and backend services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Java Script, jQuery, Node.js and CSS, Cloud AWS, SQL, GitHub Enterprise
  • Automation of tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
  • Develop and maintain web services; experience with MVC, WCF and Web APIs preferable
  • Collaborate with designers and others to implement user interface.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Work in a fast-paced Agile environment with fluid requirements and changing priorities
  • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Work closely with customers to implement and/or consult requested solutions.
  • Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no daily supervision, is a team player, open to ideas and learning

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Required skills:
    • Ability to work with US Federal clients
    • Proven experience as an C# / ASP.NET Developer
    • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Java Script, jQuery, Node.js and CSS, Cloud AWS, SQL, GitHub Enterprise, Razor syntax
    • Experience in developing responsive web applications using Bootstrap
    • Experience with RESTful API’s and web services
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Desired skils:

Education Requirement:

  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Eng or related (highly preferred)
