3rd Year Analyst / 1st Year Associate position at a new real estate investment firm focused on investing in Qualified Opportunity Zones across the US.  The Analyst / Associate will work closely with the Managing Partners, Investment and Finance teams.  As we are a new fund, applicants should have a very flexible and entrepreneurial attitude and be willing to take on any task presented to them. 

Typical tasks will include:

  • Deal-level analysis including financial modeling, writing of term sheets, writing deal summaries and investment memos, performing due diligence and presenting recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Fund-level analysis including portfolio modeling, structuring of financing facilities.
  • Travel for deal-level due diligence.
  • Private equity fund tasks including writing investor-facing investment summaries, helping create and implement investment policies and procedures, managing junior analyst resources. 


Candidates should have strong skills in the following areas:

  • Financial modeling - able to create real estate investment models from scratch, as well as use existing models.  Models will need to include future valuations, IRR and MOIC calculations, and tax-adjusted return calculations.
  • Written skills - able to write clear and detailed deal-level memos.
  • Communication Skills - able to clearly communicate in-person with the broader Decennial management team.
  • Real Estate Expertise - strong understanding of real estate investing and development.
  • Investment / Fund Expertise - understanding of how investing / private equity fund investments work.
