Cask NX People team is looking for a Sr Manager, People Operations.   At Cask people are first and you’ll be part of a team driven to foster an engaged workplace where everyone works to realize our purpose and values. 

Reporting to the VP of People, the Sr. Manager of People Operations will lead and manage the delivery of our transaction-oriented People processes, HRIS, and data analytics to effectively support our People strategy. You will work collaboratively across the People team, Corporate Services and other functional areas to provide a Cooper (employee) experience that better enables the future of work and helps differentiate Cask as the best place to work with the best employees.  


What you’ll be doing:

People Process

This role oversees the day-to-day People operations processes and programs that support our Coopers & Managers. Responsibilities include managing all core People processes and transactional support (at volume, scale, and quality), transaction optimization, auditing, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role will focus on evaluation and continuous improvement of core processes, HR technology, service level outcomes and vendor management. 

People Analytics

As Sr Manager, People Operations, you will also help to mature our People data analytics capability, leveraging our core HCM platform, HR Technology applications and other systems to create effective reporting, dashboards and analytical output of our People data. These analytics will inform/enable our People Strategy and provide actionable insights to help Cask achieve our strategic people goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the core People processes, HRIS and people analytics functions

  • Effectively and efficiently conduct and manage day to day operations required to support a fast-paced  professional services firm including responding to Cooper and Manager issues and requests

  • Effectively support our key business initiatives related to our People strategy 

  • Develop in-depth People data/analytics, reporting and dashboarding to proactively support our People strategy

  • Mature People Operations support to help enable our ability to provide a compelling Employee/Manager user experience

  • Lead and Develop current team of 1 

  • Create strategic development plans for future maturity and improvement 

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships 


What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Experience with HR/People Operations Management (running transaction/process-oriented aspects of HR/People management)

  • Experience managing a PEO relationship 

  • Experience managing HR Technology Applications 

  • Strong program and process management and organizational skills

  • Experience with project management activities (including M&A) and driving effective change management

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage vendors (selection, performance, and renewal)

  • Strong People leader and experience building high-performing teams

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Highly effective self-starter and self-directed team leader

  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and manage our People Operations team to discreetly handle confidential information with ease

  • Knowledge of federal, and state laws pertaining to employment and labor, privacy, and other compliance protocols

  • Ability to influence and coach at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to develop and drive metrics-based performance results

  • Ability to perform complex reporting, dashboarding and data analytics

  • Expert-level Excel skills

  • Experience working in a distributed workforce with multiple locations and/or in a remote environment.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience managing HR/People Operations or HR-related functions for a high-growth company

  • 2 years of experience managing HRIS/HR Technology

  • 2 years of experience as a People Leader

  • Advanced training, education and/or PHR, SPHR certification preferred
