What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and organizing physical and digital events for the organization. You will also be responsible for all operational, logistical, implementation, and post-event activities.

You will be a key part of the development and execution of marketing plans to create brand awareness, lead generation, and product/service promotion. The Events Coordinator should be a competent professional able to grasp behavior trends and generate creative events. You will be passionate about your field and well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics. The goal is to deliver effective events that will help our lead generation and fill the sales pipeline. This is a remote working role.

●      Develop and execute the marketing plan for technology business

●      Effectively plan and accurately manage the marketing budget with a focus on delivering clear and measurable conversion

●      Define event-driven Pre-event and onsite communication with delegates.

●      Relationship-building with key stakeholders.

●      Air and ground travel arrangements.

●      Support the Marketing strategy through planning and execution of physical/digital events

●      Help support partner Marketing, planning, relationships, and strategies

●      Understand the strategies involved in the marketing of services, solutions, and industries

●      Effectively and clearly communicate with coworkers, vendors, and partners

●      Help Marketing produce effective marketing communications and campaigns.

●      Establish staff schedules, task assignments, and equipment allocation to ensure conformance with department objectives and goals. 

●      Represent and deliver service excellence that is in keeping with the organization’s brand.

●      Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations. 

●      Work closely with the Marketing Director and the marketing team to define event goals, objectives, and specific implementation plans that help the organization meet its objectives.

●      Establish communication protocols and operating procedures with planning committees, subcontractors, and program staff.

●      Source venues, recommend and engage catering, acquire supporting technology, and coordinate the development of materials to execute a quality event.

●      Maintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective event management for the organization’s meetings, conferences, and events.

●      Work closely with teammates to effectively promote events to target audiences and obtain accurate event specifications.

●      Conduct research and develop feasibility studies to identify new event opportunities for the organization.

●      Facilitate event registration processes.

●      Oversee procurement purchasing and client service needs with regard to catering, audio/visual, and rental needs for events.

●      Prepare event programs and confirm all necessary preparations are in order.

●      Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities required to successfully execute all aspects of the event on the scheduled delivery day.

●      Ensure speakers are briefed and prepared to provide effective presentations and materials.

●      Trouble-shoot and smooth issues relating to the successful execution of the event program.

●      Conduct post-event debriefing sessions and provide post-event analysis, budget recaps, and participant feedback and incorporate learning into future plans.

●      Develop event reports and distribute as required to sponsors, participants, and others.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

 

●      3-5 years of Marketing experience (including traditional and Digital Marketing) for business to business (B2B) software or technology products

●      Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role

●      Positive, energetic attitude, and initiative; strong work ethic - ability to get things done and produce results

●      Knowledge of Marketing software including HubSpot, Google Analytics, Email, and Social Marketing tools, WordPress and more

●      Well-organized and detail-oriented

●      Exceptional communication and writing skills

●      Ability to develop professional relationships in all aspects of the position that result in stable, consistent, reliable, and courteous communication when dealing with other organizations.

●      Highly collaborative, self-starter, always interested in learning and innovating, unafraid to take action

●      Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines.

●      Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.

●      Proven ability to take direction and input and to develop effectively and engaging branded events that will achieve the organization’s goals.

●      Ability to influence and coordinate the efforts of other team members in support of events.

●      Ability to present and pitch ideas effectively to the management team.

●      Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

●      Stong business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills.

●      Effective time management, organizational, and leadership skills

●      BS/BA in Marketing, Communications or equivalent

●      Ability to travel is required.
