What you’ll be doing:

 

We are looking for someone to lead our testing team and agile testing strategy across the entirety of our delivery organization. You will participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. You will evaluate progress and results and recommend major changes in procedures, operating with considerable latitude.  You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and utilizing a combination of automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing methods including ServiceNow Automated Test Framework. You will work with our application services team to develop, communicate and supervise manual and automated testing solutions for continuous enhancement and integration of ServiceNow platform across our entire delivery organization. 

 

        Work with project managers, developers and administrators to develop manual and automated testing solutions for continuous enhancement and integrations of the ServiceNow platform and standardize paradigms across the organization.

        Develop a plan for how and when ServiceNow Automated Test Framework and other test tools to verify/validate continuous release of ServiceNow major, minor enhancement and maintenance releases are applicable for our projects.

        Develop, document, implement and maintain test suites and scripts for new and existing ServiceNow features based on stories and acceptance criteria.

        Develop, document, implement, and maintain best practices for ServiceNow testing and automation.

        Communicate test goals, priorities, plans, schedule, status, and results across organization.

        Develop procedures and reports of ServiceNow testing, verification and validation status and results including details of errors, non-conformances, and recommended remediation and corrective actions.

        Train and mentor users, testers, developers, and business analysts on organizational testing and quality assurance processes and procedures.

        Participate in developing release planning paradigms for new ServiceNow feature and platform functionality, defect fixes, and platform optimization and standardize across the organization.

        Create ServiceNow platform test framework design and testing process, continual improvements and criteria spanning access, feature, function, usability, performance, load, integration, interoperability and regression test criteria.

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

        College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

        7 years of experience with software testing principles

        7 years of experience with system testing methodologies

        7 years of experience with the system or software development life cycle (SDLC)

        3 years of experience with ServiceNow developing/testing experience

        Demonstrate experience with defect management and tracking tools.

        Demonstrate ability to identify errors, and failures through error log and message file analysis.

        Experience working with Agile Development and Test Management applications of ServiceNow

        Experience working in an Agile project environment with an emphasis on frequently delivering functional software releases at a sustainable pace

        Demonstrate project management, communication, and documentation skills to organize successful completion of user acceptance testing.

        Demonstrate ability to work and communicate collaboratively with Developers to share complex testing error results, recommendations for fixes, and verify/validate acceptance criteria.

        BA or BS degree required
